AUSTIN (KXAN)- Music legends will be gathering at Threadgills on Sunday evening for a concert honoring a piece of music history.

On September 24, 1965, Bob Dylan and the Band made their debut at Austin’s Municipal Auditorium.

The Auditorium was later torn down and replaced by the Long Center, but Dylan’s influence on music is everlasting.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the event, you can attend The First Waltz: Austin Goes Electric at Threadgill’s South on Sunday at 6 p.m.

Tickets are $17.

The money raised will go to the SIMS Foundation.

Here’s a list of performers.
