Austin Energy holds 5th Annual Community Connections Resource Fair

The goal of the fair was to provide Austin residents with information about social services, healthcare, affordable housing, bill assistance, and other services.

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin Energy hosted it’s fifth annual Community Connections resource fair on Saturday, with over 85 organizations in attendance.

The goal of the fair was to provide Austin residents with information about social services, healthcare, affordable housing, bill assistance, and other services.

“The goal of this is letting, connecting with the community at this level, letting them know that Austin Energy has a face, and we’re that face, and making them more comfortable,” said Ronnie Mendoza, Manager of Austin Energy’s Customer Assistance Program.
