Del Valle Schools return to normal after near-by robbery

DEL VALLE (KXAN) — Del Valle Schools and District buildings on Ross Road were temporarily in ‘shelter-in-place’ mode after a possible robbery nearby.

The officers from the Austin Police Department notified the district that they were investigating a robbery report in the 5200 block of Diwa Cove.

Officers say two males suspects robbed a female. APD detained one suspect in the robbery.

Shelter in place went into effect at 12:00 p.m. and was lifted just before 1 p.m.
