UFCU Helps Fight Against Fraud

Last month UFCU helped us learn about chip cards….what they are, how they work and how they can benefit us. This week we’re learning how to deal with the mess if things go awry and fraud is in play.
Senior Fraud Mitigation Specialist Nita Anderson joined us to tell us more and teach us how to protect ourselves. The chip cards are now more secure thanks to a metallic square microchip, dynamic transaction codes, and that the codes cannot be used again. It’s especially helpful in regard to counterfeit fraud. You can always check in with UFCU by attending one of their many financial seminars. Call 512-467-8080 or go to UFCU.org.
