Anderson and Westlake met at House Park in the 14-6A district opener for both teams.

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Anderson and Westlake met at House Park in the 14-6A district opener for both teams, and the Chaps continued their perfect season and perfect record against the Trojans with a 73-10 win.

On Westlake’s second play from scrimmage, Reed Klubnik ran it in from 18 yards out for an early 7-0 lead.

Later in the first quarter, Texas commit Sam Ehlinger found Andrew Boykin for a 29-yard touchdown.

The junior quarterback showed off his arm on a perfect 59-yard pass to Klubnik to go up 10-0.

Chase Cokley continued the scoring barrage with a 55-yard touchdown from Elinger.

Anderson will look to recover from its first loss of the season with their first road game next week at Bowie.

Westlake hosts Austin High in Week 4.
