Gov. Abbott discusses strengthening ties with Mexican President

AUSTIN, Texas (KXAN) — Governor Greg Abbott is heading back to Texas after spending a few days in Mexico.

He met with the Mexican President, Enrique Peña Nieto.

Together they discussed strengthening cultural and economic ties.

Trade between Texas and Mexico tops $200 billion annually, which Abbott is hoping to grow.
