3,000 customers were without power in Austin after storms

AUSTIN, Texas (KXAN) — Austin Energy says they are working to repair power outages in Central Austin, after rain moved through the area Wednesday evening.

The power outage was reported around 9:30 p.m. in the area east of I-35 near Howard Lane. Approximately 3,000 customers were without power at the peak of the problem.

According to the outage map, a little over one hundred customers remain without power in the area close to I-35 and 45th Street.
