LAS VEGAS, Nevada (NBC) — A Las Vegas, Nevada police officer was shot according to multiple news outlets.
KLAS-TV reports the shooting happened around 2 p.m. ET. One officer was wounded in the shooting according to the station.
According to both KVVU-TV and KTNV-TV, the suspect tried to ambush the officer and fired three rounds.
KSNV-TV reports the shooting happened at a 7-Eleven convenience store.
KTNV reports the officer was shot in the hand when the officer was inside a police car.
This is the second Las Vegas police officer shot in the past three days.
