AUSTIN (KXAN) – Austin’s Parks and Recreation Department is asking for your input on two proposed plans for the Seaholm Intake redevelopment.

The Seaholm Intake Facility is an iconic Art Deco design and was once the pump house for the Seaholm Power Plant. The final proposal should incorporate the design sensibility of the overall existing space, maintain the historic facade, and allow for design improvements of the site, trail, water access and buildings.

The top two redevelopment proposals illustrate multi-functional spaces and how the spaces interact with each other.
