On Friday, Aug. 21, Georgetown I.S.D. Superintendent Dr. Fred Brent was on KXAN News Today to talk about the upcoming school year and to answer your questions. This upcoming school year will be Brent’s second full year as the district’s superintendent. In the 2009-2010 school year, the district’s enrollment was 10,396 students. For the 2015-2015 school year, that number increased to 10,710 students, with enrollment increasing every year in between.
