On Monday, Aug. 17, Leander I.S.D. Superintendent Dr. Bret A. Champion was on KXAN News Today to talk about the upcoming school year and to answer your questions. Champion has been with Leander ISD for more than two decades before taking over the superintendent position in 2008. As of September, Leander ISD is the fastest growing district in Central Texas—14th in the state of Texas.
