City of Austin enters partnership with GivePulse, hopes to have more citizens begin volunteering

Austin Mayor Steve Adler announced the City of Austin's partnership with GivePulse Sunday morning.

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Sunday Austin Mayor Steve Adler announced the City of Austin’s new partnership with the Austin Group GivePulse.

With this partnership, citizens of Austin are able to find different groups across the city to pledge one hour of their time to in order to help meet community needs.

“We’re going to announce today a partnership with GivePulse, an online tool that lists thousands of organizations in our community, including the City of Austin, that desperately need and could use an hour of time and support,” Mayor Adler stated during the announcement on Sunday.
