New Braunfels police searching for cooler thief

NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas (KXAN) – Police in New Braunfels are looking for a man who stole several expensive coolers from the Buc-ee’s store along I-35.

According to police, on Friday the man came into the store and stole two Yeti Hooper coolers, valued at $650. But two wasn’t enough, police said the same man came back on Saturday and tried to steal a third cooler but management noticed what he was doing so he left the store without the item.

During the first theft he wore a white Performance Fishing Gear (PFG) t-shirt and left the scene in a silver Chevrolet 1500 pickup truck. During the second theft attempt he was wearing a blue PFG t-shirt and left the scene in a white Buick LeSabre.
