Austin to host women’s business conference

AUSTIN ((KXAN)) — Texas ranks as the second highest state in the country when it comes to women-owned businesses. Nationally, women have $7 billion in buying power as consumers and female business owners generate $1.4 trillion in revenue.

Austin will be hosting the Women’s Business Enterprise Conference this week to give female business owners the tools and connections they need. Erin Cargile talked to successful businesswoman and Co-chair of the conference Keeli Jernigan this morning to learn more.
