Two Williamson County jailers behind bars

L: Theodore Hodges; R: Jose Hodgers-Lizarrage,

GEORGETOWN, Texas (KXAN) — Two Williamson County Correctional Officers are on the other side of the jail cell accused of falsifying jail logs.

According to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, Theodore Hodges, 22, and Jose Hodgers-Lizarrage, 23, were responsible for verifying the welfare of certain inmates and notating these checks in the jail’s “Suicide Watch Log.” An internal investigation revealed both Hodges and Hodgers-Lizarrage were falsifying the times, without performing the required checks on the inmates.

Both Correctional Officers are currently in the WCSO Jail charged with tampering with a government record. Both have been placed on paid, administrative leave while the investigation continues. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
