LEANDER, Texas (KXAN) – Some people near the 183A and US 183 intersection in Williamson County will have to start taking a detour to get to and from their neighborhoods. It is all part of a construction project by the Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority to improve access and make the intersection safer.

The Mobility Authority said a portion of the US 183 and 183A intersection will be closed for at least two months as they work to complete upgrades to the intersection. The closure will help quicken the overall construction process, officials said.
