Weather postpones new RRISD elementary groundbreaking

ROUND ROCK, Texas (KXAN) — Round Rock Independent School District officials say weather is putting a damper on its groundbreaking plans for Monday. A ceremony for Elementary School No. 34 has been rescheduled for a later date.

The elementary school will be built at 2800 Sauls Drive in Austin, and it is expected to be open by fall 2016. The school was approved in the 2014 bond.The bond sale for construction of the project was $36,741,113.
