Rabid bat found at busy Kyle shopping center

KYLE, Texas (KXAN) — A rabid bat was discovered on a sidewalk at a busy shopping center in Kyle on Sunday. According to officials, the live bat was found at around 11:30 a.m. at 20185 Marketplace Ave.

The bat was tested by the Department of State Health Services and was found to be positive for rabies.
