AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Austin Fire Department has extended the watercraft ban on Lady Bird Lake and city creeks. It was originally supposed to expire at Tuesday, but fire officials say conditions are still not safe and have extended the ban until Wednesday at noon.

If you break the rules, the Austin Fire Department could impound your watercraft.
