Austin ISD leader talks bus safety after driver charged with sex assault

AUSTIN (KXAN) – After an Austin ISD bus driver was charged with sexually assaulting a student at his driver’s station, an arrest warrant was also issued for an assistant principal at Walnut Creek Elementary School for failing to report possible child abuse.

On Monday, Austin ISD Superintendent Paul Cruz sat down with KXAN’s Sally Hernandez to discuss the incident and what changes are being made.
