Bastrop County Animal Shelter starting free adoptions

BASTROP, Texas (KXAN) — The Bastrop County Animal Shelter is beginning free adoptions Sunday after taking in over 100 animals, after many animals have been displaced following storms.

The shelter is also asking for temporary foster homes for animals if adoption is not an option. They also ask people to visit their location if they have any missing pets.

The shelter is open for adoptions every day of the week from 11:00 a. m. to 4:00 p. m., at 589 Coolwater Drive in Bastrop, Texas 78602. People interested may call the shelter for more information at 512-549-5160.
