Ride 2 Recovery headed to Fort Hood from Georgetown

GEORGETOWN, Texas (KXAN) — More than 200 injured veterans are waking up in Georgetown and headed to Fort Hood Tuesday morning. They are taking part in an impressive cycling feat, called Ride 2 Recovery.

The 490-mile journey started in Houston on Sunday. They arrived in Georgetown on Monday, and they’re now headed to Fort Hood around 11 a.m. They eventually plan to make their way to Arlington by Friday.
