Keeping your child safe with new in-home day care rules

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Keeping your child safe at daycare is making its way through the state Capitol. One bill wants to add new rules to registered day cares inside homes. It would require owners to have their fingerprints taken so the state can perform a sex offender background check.

It’s just the latest step in daycare protection.
