AUSTIN (KXAN) — Fans of In-N-Out will be happy to know that the second Austin location will open on the southside of town.

According to building permits, the exact location will take over the Wendy’s spot at 3701 S. Lamar Blvd.

Carl Van Fleet, In-N-Out’s vice president of planning and development said they’re hoping to start construction soon. “Once we start construction, it usually takes about five months for us to open for business,” said Fleet.

The first In-N-Out in Austin opened on Airport Boulevard in Dec. 2013.
