KBVO-TV signal expands to more Central Texas communities

AUSTIN (KXAN) – KBVO-TV, known to many Central Texas viewers as the local sports station, has increased its signal to reach more Central Texas neighborhoods.

KBVO’s 14.1 signal originally transmitted at only 75 watts. Now, the station can be found transmiting at a power of 15,000 watts. KBVO programming is available in more homes within the greater Austin area including Bastrop, Buda, Elgin, Georgetown, Kyle, Lakeway, San Marcos and Taylor.

Viewers with digital channels will need to re-scan to find the expanded KBVO signal on Channel 14.1

KBVO is home to local high school football, Texas State basketball and baseball, San Antonio Spurs as well as Atlantic Coast Conference football and basketball.

KBVO can be found on the following local cable channels:

  • DirecTV HD: 51
  • Dish Network HD: 5185
  • Grande HD: 818
  • Northland Cable HD: 101
  • Suddenlink HD: 725
  • Time Warner HD: 1525
  • Over the Air 14.1
