PFLUGERVILLE, Texas (KXAN) — Travis County SWAT officers responded to an apartment complex in Austin. Officers closed of entrances to the Lakewood Apartments along The Lakes Boulevard, just east of Interstate 35, according to a neighbor.

Authorities said they got a call from a woman saying a man was threatening to harm himself, prompting the SWAT team’s response. Police threw tear gas into the home to get the man out, and they later managed to get him into custody.
