AUSTIN (KXAN) — Police are on the lookout for two men in West Austin who could be dangerous. A group of teenagers were playing basketball on Lost Ridge Drive, near Far West Boulevard and Mesa Drive, when police say a dark-colored SUV pulled up in front of them. Investigators say one of the men got out of the car wearing a skeleton mask and started chasing them.

Minutes later, police say the same thing happened on Far West Boulevard near a Goodwill store. No one was hurt, and the children were able to get away. But parents worry it could happen again.

“Not only did they endanger the children that they were trying to spook, if indeed it was just a spook, but they endangered themselves,” said Sarah Donohoe. “If you have an overzealous parent out there with a shotgun, who knows what could’ve happened.”

Police tell us they believe this could be more serious than a prank. If you have any information, call police.
