Listen to leaked unreleased ‘Spice Girls’ songs

The "Spice Girls" even had their own "Spice Cam" (AP)

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Spice Girls have defied the “rule of three” and have instead spiced things up their own way by gracing our ears with FOUR previously unreleased songs — leaked online. The songs were reportedly recorded as part of their third and final studio album, “Forever,” released in 2000, according to Mirror.com. The site says the tracks were unfortunately left on the cutting room floor for 15 years — until now.

According to Yahoo, these tracks were scrapped from the album they recorded after Halliwell made her exit in 1998. “Forever” was released in 2000 and sold 5 million copies worldwide. The group went on to release a “Greatest Hits” compilation album in 2007. And let’s not forget their amazing reunion for the 2012 London Summer Olympics closing ceremonies .

While SoundCloud took down the links to the songs, I’ve managed to dig up a way for you to hear them. In the video, you’ll hear the songs, in order:

  • “Right Back at Ya”
  • “Pain Proof”
  • “A Day In Your Life”
  • “If It’s Loving on Your Mind”
  • LISTEN: Four new songs

And if you just can’t get enough Spice in your life, here are some then-and-now photos of the group — and a link to dozens of “Spice Girls” merch you wish you still had.
