AUSTIN (KXAN) — You might remember when “Maroon 5” made headlines last month for crashing random weddings throughout the Los Angeles area. It was a seemingly arbitrary move by the pop rock band. And while we didn’t know then what we know now, many considered their wedding crasher appearances a welcome surprise.
“It’s Dec. 6, 2014,” says lead singer and “The Voice” coach Adam Levine at the outset of the video. “We’re going to drive across LA and hit every wedding we possibly can. It’s going to be awesome … And we’re late.”
Turns out, the band was filming its wedding crasher ways for the newly released “Sugar” music video. Levine told E Online,“Literally, there was only one person in the entire wedding that knew, because we needed a contact.” That person? The groom!
