Woman injured in North Austin shooting

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Police said a woman in her late teens or early 20s was hurt after a shooting in North Austin. Authorities said the injuries did not appear to be life threatening.

The shooting happened about 3 p.m. near the intersection of Twincrest Drive and Carmen Court, just north of Webb Middle School.

Police said they were still looking for a suspect who may have left in a blue van, but did not reveal any other details about the shooting.
