We headed over to the east side to check out Sawyer & Co., where they create comfort food classics with a Louisiana upbringing. Amanda met up with Chef Happy Abdelbaki to try one of his signature po’ boys and find out more about what makes the restaurant so unique. Stephen Shallcross and Mickie Spencer partnered up to create of a mid-century diner where you come to take it easy, eat some great food, and relax with family and friends. The patio continues the design scheme found inside, and features retro booths along with a fun little lawn area. Sawyer & Co. is open 7 days a week, and features Louisiana staples like po’ boys, gumbo and boudin.
