AUSTIN (KXAN) — Tuesday marks the first day of Hanukkah, and the Jewish a cappella group Six13 decided they’d have some fun with it — making a Hanukkah version of Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off.” And it’s quite educational, too. So whether you celebrate the Festival of Lights, also known as Hanukkah, or just love a good song and some creativity, you can definitely appreciate this one. Hanukkah runs through Dec. 24, lasting eight days.

Hanukkah is observed for eight days and nights, “commemorating the rededication of the Holy Temple (the Second Temple) in Jerusalem at the time of the Maccabean Revolt against the Seleucid Empire of the 2nd century BCE.”
