Buffalo roams through China highway traffic

CHIZHOU, China (NBC/CCTV VIA APTN) — A buffalo made its way onto a highway in eastern China recently, slowing traffic and scaring passing drivers and local traffic police. Surveillance video shows the buffalo running down the middle of the highway with cars slowly trailing behind and passing the animal.

Police say the buffalo ran for more than 3 miles before they were able to catch it. Police eventually corralled the animal into a highway service station after chasing it for more than an hour.
