Originally ANYTHING GOES opened in 1934 on Broadway.  The musical comedy is about lovers, liars and clowns on a transatlantic cruise. ANYTHING GOES features music and lyrics by Cole Porter and Porter’s roundup of nostalgic hits in the production include “You’re the Top,” “Friendship,” “I Get a Kick Out of You,” “It’s De-Lovely,” and, of course “Anything Goes.”  It was the fourth longest running musical of the 1930’s despite the impact of the Great Depression.  Bradley Allan Zarr, Patrick Heffernan and Katie Wilson Stewart are members of the cast, and they showed us how to tap dance!  ANYTHING GOES, the new Broadway revival of Cole Porter’s timeless classic musical theatre masterpiece premieres at Bass Concert Hall in Austin now through December 14th.
