Air Canada adds flight from Austin to Toronto

AUSTIN (KXAN) – Austin Bergstrom International Airport is adding a new international flight to its offerings as Air Canada announced a new non-stop flight to Toronto’s Pearson International Airport Tuesday.

Flights will leave Toronto at 2:25 p.m. and arrive in Austin at 4:45 p.m. The return flight departs Austin at 5:20 p.m. and lands in Toronto at 9:40 p.m.

The new, daily flights will be operated under the Air Canada Express brand on a 75-seat CRJ 705 regional jet. The flight features 10 premium seats, personal touch-screen TV service with on demand audio and video.

The new flights start May 18.

Toronto’s Pearson airport (YYZ) is one of the international airports were passengers go through U.S. Customs before departing for the United States.
