Monica Andry with UFCU and Allison Mack with Austin Moms Blog stopped by on Monday to visit with Amanda about Black Friday. Although none of the three are hard core Black Friday shoppers, they did have a lot of great ideas on ways to get the most out of the day. Monica shared ideas for being cost conscious when going out after the Black Friday bargains. She suggested making your list with a price point listed for each gift to keep yourself on track financially. Allison said the number one tip for Black Friday shopping is to leave the kids at home. No matter how well behaved they are, children are just not going to be up to a full day of bargain hunting. She also suggested looking for deals in the bins by the registers. Oftentimes, people will have buyer’s remorse and leave things once they get to the checkout lines.
