BRISBANE, Australia (NBC/RTV) — President Barack Obama and other world leaders attending the G20 summit in Brisbane, Australia, Saturday took a break from their duties to hold some cuddly koalas. Obama took a turn holding the adorable furry creature, and then Russian President Vladimir Putin got his turn. It looks like Obama’s and Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott’s koalas really liked each other; the camera caught them affectionately rubbing their noses together. Italian Prime Minster Matteo Renzi also got in on the koala-holding action.
There is no word yet on whether the heads of the 20 largest economies will get to snuggle with kangaroos next.
