FUKUI, Japan (NBC/NTV) — Some incredible seasonal views from Japan happened as fog blanketed the central city of Ono Tuesday morning, creating scenes of a castle that seemed to float above the clouds. Echizen Ono castle is located on a mountain top. When conditions are just right, it looks as if the ancient castle is floating.

Authorities are working on a path and shops to turn the “floating castle” into a tourist attraction. Echizen Ono castle was built by Samurai in the 16th century.
