Smart chimp tests his photographic memory

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Chimp Ayumu in Japan is touching numbers 1 through 9 in sequential order on a computer screen — even after they’ve left the screen. The numbers appear and disappear quickly after, turning into nothing but boxes. Still, the primate has no problem matching up the squares to the numbers that were previously on the screen.
