Hawaiian Falls water park facing lawsuit

Hawaiian Falls Water Park

PFLUGERVILLE, Texas (KXAN) — A woman from Travis County is suing the area’s newest water park for negligence. According to a lawsuit filed Monday, Cynthia Prew says she hit a metal pole with her tailbone while riding a slide at the Hawaiian Falls water park in Pflugerville.

Prew’s attorney says Hawaiian falls should’ve taken the pole out, or at least padded it. The Prews are seeking up to $1 million in damages.

We reached out to Hawaiian Falls for comment, but they have not yet responded.
