2 people injured in N. Austin parking lot hit-and-run

AUSTIN (KXAN) – Two people suffered serious injuries Saturday afternoon when they were struck by a vehicle in a North Austin McDonald’s parking lot. Witnesses told police they saw a black pickup truck flee the scene.

Officers responded to the restaurant at North Lamar and Rundberg Ln. shortly after 4 p.m. Paramedics transported both victims, a man and a woman, to University Medical Center Brackenridge.

Austin – Travis County EMS officials say the victims were conscious and talking on-scene.
