Future K-9 pup can’t wait to run with Boston big dogs

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A tiny German Shepherd puppy in an oversized bulletproof vest for police dogs has managed to melt the Internet overnight – well, at least the hearts of people online. Massachusetts Vest-A-Dog  shared the photo of the future K-9 puppy, named Tuco, wearing the vest that nearly swallows him entirely. The Massachusetts nonprofit  provides bulletproof vests for police dogs, and this little guy can’t wait to run with the big dogs and wear the vest and shield of the Boston Police Department.

Boston Magazine says Tuco is “owned by BPD dog handler Troy Caisey, a 22-year veteran of the force who has trained more than 350 canines at a facility in Jamaica Plain during the course of his career.”
