Sheryl Cole: Candidate for Austin Mayor

Sheryl Cole is an eight year veteran of the Austin City Council. She is the first African-American woman elected to the position. Cole is a Certified Public Accountant and is a graduate of the University of Texas School of Law. Cole served as staff counsel for the Texas Municipal League from 1995-2001. She currently represents the City of Austin on three boards; CAMPO Transportation Policy Board, Downtown Austin Alliance and the Lone Star Rail Policy Board. The Wichita Falls native is married and the mother of three boys.
