Kyle bank robber sought by police

KYLE, Texas (KXAN) — Police are searching for a man who robbed a bank inside a Kyle H-E-B store on Monday. The robbery happened at 9:26 a.m. at the First Convenience Bank, 5401 S. FM 1626.

The white man had grey or white hair and is believed to be in his 60s. He was wearing a tan shirt, blue jeans, black and white tennis shoes and an orange Texas Longhorns hat.

Police say the man handed the teller a note that read, “Give me all the money you have and no one gets hurt.” No one was injured and police say no weapons were displayed. He left with an undisclosed amount of money.

The man left the scene in a small red SUV. Anyone with any information about the suspect is asked to call the Kyle Police Department at 512-268-3232.
