Deputies search for man tied to Round Rock homicide

ROUND ROCK, Texas (KXAN) –  Do you know where this man is? Crime Stoppers is offering a $2,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office is looking for DaRyan Tarrell Simms, who is also known as Tae Boy. Deputies say he’s wanted for tampering with evidence in connection with a homicide case where deputies found a 31-year-old-man dead in Round Rock’s Chandler Creek neighborhood.

Deputies say Simms isn’t known to own a car and may be depending on friends or relatives for transportation.

Anyone who knows where Simms is may be eligible for a $2,000 reward if the report it through Crime Stoppers. Deputies say Simms is considered dangerous and should not be approached.

A second man, Jerrion LaDerriere Barr, was arrested for pawning a rifle stolen from the victim’s home. He has since been released on bond.
