Turning Ordinary Objects into Custom Art

Lisa Hohertz is an expert on the art of assemblage: creating a work of art by grouping found objects in a cohesive fashion. Hohertz grew up on a ranch, so her ability to think outside of the box when creating a piece is well honed. She says to get into your “play” mode–it inspires creativity– and don’t write off something as junk; it might be the perfect addition to a custom piece or collage. She stopped by the studio to show Amanda how to put together a fun custom project.
