AUSTIN (KXAN) – The City Of Rollingwood has stepped up traffic restrictions and parking enforcement as Austin City Limits Music Festival attendees prepare to flood the area.
More than 900 parking permits have been delivered to residents in the area to be used during the festival. Those without parking permits will be able to drive through the area, but parking will be limited to residents.
Signs will be posted throughout the area directing motorists toward approved parking areas.
Officers will be in the area directing traffic and enforcing the temporary parking restrictions. If you are unsure where to park, officers encourage festival attendees to ask.
“I don’t mind letting people park wherever, as long as it’s not an inconvenience for us,” said Rollingwood resident Bob Dilliard, adding it can be easy for the neighborhood to be overwhelmed during festival.
