Lawsuit claims Tito’s Handmade Vodka isn’t really “handmade”

AUSTIN (KXAN) — The owner of Tito’s Handmade Vodka is defending his business after being named in lawsuit that claims his company is misleading its customers.

In a lawsuit filed in San Diego County in California, the plaintiff, Gary Hoffman is suing Tito’s corporate company, Fifth Generation, Inc. for misleading customers about marketing the product as “handmade.” The lawsuit claims there is nothing handmade about the vodka and that it is produced in mass quantities.
