Cancer has no age limit


Austin (KXAN)- September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month. This year the American Cancer Society estimates 15,780 new cancer cases will be diagnosed in children and adolescents.

Children’s Blood & Cancer Center at Dell Children’s sees 90-100 newly diagnosed patients a year.

Dr. Don Wells, pediatric hematologist/oncologist with the cancer center joined Erin Cargile to talk about child cancers and how they can be treated.
