DALLAS (AP) — At the end of a seven-month tragedy that claimed a family, an attorney says he’s not sure the full story will ever be known. Authorities confirmed Thursday that two bodies found at a suburban Dallas home were those of Sumeet and Pallavi Dhawan.
The Dhawans’ 10-year-old son, Arnav, had been found dead in a bathtub in January — a death for which Pallavi Dhawan was charged with murder. She’d been free on bond, and their family lawyer David Finn had strenuously asserted her innocence. Now, the Dhawans all dead, he said he’s unsure the truth will ever be known.
Finn says he has been working with the Dhawans’ extended family, trying to arrange the return of their bodies to India for cremation in the Hindu tradition.
